Hannah Chalew is an artist from New Orleans. Her artwork explores the relationship between nature and culture as we slide into the collective uncertainty of life in the age of global warming. She received her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art outside of Detroit, MI in May 2016, and works out of her studio off Broad St in New Orleans. Her pieces ROOT SHOCK I and ROOT SHOCK II are pen and ink on handmade paper made from trash.
