Spotlight on the Chelsea Painters is a two-part exhibit that showcases work by members of the Chelsea Painters. Utilizing a range of painting techniques, this second collection of artworks captures unique snapshots from everyday Michigan landscapes.
Established in 1974, the Chelsea Painters are a diverse group of artists based throughout southeast Michigan. Members include nationally recognized painters and Signature Members of artists’ societies throughout the US. Membership is by invitation and limited to 25 active members. In addition to exhibiting their work, the group meets regularly for critiques, lectures, and demonstrations. An annual highlight is their Art Fair, held each June.
