Free FestiFOOLs Family Make & Take: Recycle-Saurus Puppets

Come one, come ALL! Join us Saturday, March 14th for a fantastic and free, family drop-in activity from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at the Ann Arbor Art Center. We’ll have a roarin’ good time making Recycle-Saurus puppets for the FestiFOOLs Parade, in keeping with this year’s theme “Fossil Fools”. This project may take up to an hour, so we encourage families to arrive before 3pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Families are encouraged to bring their Recycle-Saurus puppets to the FestiFOOLs Parade on Sunday, April 5th. You may walk next to our GIANT Recycle-Saurus puppet in the parade or support us from the crowd. If you would like to walk in the parade with us, dress your crazy, zany dinosaur-best and meet us at the Art Center at 3:30pm. Parade walkers may come by as early as 2:30 for pre-parade refreshments and to make a dinosaur egg shaker.

2:30pm – 3:30pm Parade Walkers or supporters can swing by for refreshments and make a festive dinosaur egg shaker.
3:30pm All Parade Walkers bring their Recycle-Saurus puppets and meet at the Art Center to walk in the parade
4:00pm FestiFOOLs Parade begins- Walk with us for part of it or all of it. Your choice!
5:00pm FestiFOOLs Parade ends
