A2AC Class Registration Updates & FAQ

The A2AC is switching to a new class registration system!

Read on to learn about the benefits, features, and changes related to this.

Why is the A2AC changing registration software?

To continue to improve how we support students and instructors as we operate at

a higher-than-ever volume, we will be switching from “Activenet” to “Camp & Class Manager”.

When will the software change take place?

October 27, 2023 at 7am  |   When registration opens for everyone for Winter Workshops.

*Reminder: There is no early registration for members for our 2 workshop seasons.

If you had registered for a Fall Term class earlier this year, that registration will remain in our old software.

What are the new features and benefits, beginning Oct. 27, 2023?

*These features are effective beginning with class registrations for the Winter Workshop season.

*These features are NOT accessible through your old registration for any Fall Term classes.

  • Students will now have the ability to withdraw from a class through their online account under our normal cancellation/refund policy guidelines.
  • Our waitlist will now be automated to give you the best chance of getting an open spot!
  • Students can receive text messages regarding class cancellations due to inclement weather, instructor illnesses, or important, time-sensitive information regarding classes.
  • It includes a number of features that will allow us to better serve our students and summer art camp families.
  • Instructors will have their own portal to easily communicate with their students.

Creating a New Account

We will be starting fresh! When you register for a class, it will ask you for basic contact information and you will be prompted to create a password. That is all you need to do to create an account.

After you have created an account, you can manage your account using the link below:

Registering for Classes

If you experience any difficulty registering for a class, please contact the Education Team for assistance, at 734.926.4131 or education@annarborartcenter.org, Monday – Friday, from 10am – 5pm.

Withdraw from a Class Thru Your Online Account!

Beginning October 27 with Winter Workshops, students will now have the ability to withdraw from a class through their online account under our normal cancellation/refund policy guidelines. 

*This doesn’t apply to Fall Term classes, which will stay in the old registration system.

Our Waitlist Will Now Be Automated- Read our new policy!

You will automatically receive an email if a spot opens in the class you are waitlisted for. You will then have 24 hours to register for the spot, before our automated waitlist offers it to the next participant on the waitlist, and your window of opportunity closes. Payment will be due upon registering for the class.

In the instance of a last minute cancellation, the A2AC reserves the right to contact everyone on the waitlist. The email sent would explain how to register, and the spot would go to the first person who registers.

Gift certificates may not be used in the online registration system. Please contact the Education Team at 734-926-4131 or education@annarborartcenter.org anytime Monday thru Friday from 10am-5pm.

How to use a Gift Certificate | Beginning October 27

Gift certificates may not be used in the online registration system. To use one, please contact the Education Team at 734.926.4131 or education@annarborartcenter.org, Monday – Friday, from 10am-5pm.

No new Gift Certificates are being offered at this time.

How to use a Credit | Beginning October 27

To use a credit that was issued BEFORE October 27:

Please contact the Education Team at 734.926.4131 or education@annarborartcenter.org

To use a credit issued on or after October 27:

You will have the option to apply your credit in the payment section when you register for a class. It will not be automatically applied. You will need to select it as the form of payment.

How to use a Coupon Code | Beginning October 27

To use an old coupon code that was issued before October 27:

Please contact the Education Team at 734.926.4131 or education@annarborartcenter.org

Any future coupon codes issued on or after October 27:

Will be issued through the new software and may be applied at check-out when registering online.

Membership | Purchases, Renewals, and Early Registration

The new registration software will not be used for managing memberships.
