Tasting notes
The Natural Attraction is a refreshing take on a style of cocktail known as a Daisy. This cocktail took inspiration from the mural by looking for lighter, floral components to build around the A2DC’s Water Hill Misco. Both the bee and flower in the mural are represented by honey and sunflower seed orgeat, and the hibiscus lends its slightly tart floral flavor which plays off the bitterness of the A2DC’s Water Hill Apertivo to help round out the cocktail.
A2DC’s take on the popular herbaceous aperitif popular with soda water or both classic and modern cocktails, Water Hill Apertivo is infused with citrus and botanicals to create a slightly bitter spirit.

Mural Information
Artist: TreeTown Murals – Mary Thiefels and Danijel Matanic
Location: Growing Hope, Ypsilanti
The Circ Bar’s cocktails were inspired by the mural created by TreeTown Murals located on Growing Hope in Ypsilanti.
TreeTown Murals partnered with the Ypsilanti organization, Growing Hope to design and create a mural that highlights and celebrates the center’s contributions to the community through service, food, farming, and education. This mural is part of a pair of murals that link Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, bringing together the two communities through collaboration, conversation, and creativity. The artists worked together to identify the subject matter of their respective murals to amplify the other’s community through visual art. The partner mural was created by Yen Azzaro and was the inspiration for Alley Bar’s cocktail.
