Join us this Friday for PARK(ing) Day, an annual free event that encourages community members, students, and designers to transform metered parking spaces into temporary parklets. Stop by the Ann Arbor Art Center for an interactive art activity for the whole family then take a stroll around downtown Ann Arbor to visit the many other participants and engage in a parking space takeover like no other.
This map below will be available at the Art Center the day of to help guide you around town.
Art in Public is an initiative of the Ann Arbor Art Center. We believe the experience of art should be accessible and equitable to everyone. We collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and individuals to help bring high-quality art into public spaces and elevate Ann Arbor as a destination for creatives and art-lovers.
PARK(ing) Day is made possible by the generous support of Synecdoche Design, the Ann Arbor DDA, as well as several individuals who are passionate about art in public spaces.
