ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sonya Percival is an artist originally from St. Petersburg, and lived in the U.S. half of her life.
Born into a family of artists, she is influenced by the tradition, which gave her the tools. Her art reflects a deep reverence for the natural world. The Great Lakes, sun, minerals, earth, water, and fire all find expression in her work. Finding harmony, being true, and embracing simplicity are the foundation of her artistic philosophy.
