Tasting notes

Featuring A2DC’s ARBOR Fall Gin, a thyme-infused honey syrup, a splash of fresh lemon juice, and garnished with a piece of fresh honeycomb, Thyme’s Up is manifesting spring. The mural inspired them to think light, refreshing, and the beginning of spring. They thought of gardens and rebirth, having the warm sun all around you as we enter a new season.

A2DC’s ARBOR Fall Gin was brewed to be barrel-aged and is based on the Old Tom variety of gin. A bit more mellow, with notes of oak, caramel, deep vanilla, and warming spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and a bit of cedar.

Mural Information

Artist:  Yen Azzaro
Location: Argus Farm Stop

Alley Bar’s Thymes Up! cocktails were inspired by Ypsilanti-based artist Yen Azzaro’s mural located at Argus Farm Stop on Liberty Street.

Yen’s mural is part of a pair of murals that link Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. These two murals bring together two communities and two perspectives through collaboration, conversation, and creativity. Yen from Ypsilanti, and TreeTown Murals – Mary Thiefels & Danijel Matanic, from Ann Arbor. The artists worked together to identify the subject matter of their respective murals to amplify the other’s community through visual art. The partner mural was created by TreeTown Murals and was the inspiration for The Circ Bar’s cocktail.

Please note: Due to a printing error, Artini-At-Home cocktail labels needed to be trimmed, resulting in the loss of the A2AC Murals artist information. We apologize for this unfortunate production error and encourage you to continue supporting the talented artists that have added to the beauty of our cities.
