Liberty Local: Handmade Craft Fair

Welcome to Liberty Local: Handmade Craft Fair! This is an event that showcases the best of independent craft with a venue in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. This show is for promoting your individual aesthetic, technique and diversity in craft.
Liberty Local invites crafters who make handmade, indie goods that are original to the applicant. Sorry! Importers, wholesalers or retail stores are ineligible.
Please feel free to pass this application on to all of your friends in the crafty world. First preference will be given to vendors that live in Michigan, but we welcome all applicants.
How to apply
Vendors will need to submit 3 photos or a URL (such as a personal website or Etsy page) that best embodies their work with their application and fee. These photos must be representational of the work you will have for sale at the show.
The application fee is $10. It is non-refundable, but will go towards your vendor fee once you are accepted.
What to expect
Liberty Local will have 2 floors of indie craft with 35-40 vendors in the historic Walker Building, home of the Ann Arbor Art Center. This heavily advertised show is sure to draw a large crowd.
The event fee is $80 for the show. Each vendor will have a 6’ x 6’ space to show their work. Vendors are encouraged to bring their own table. But, 6’x2.5’ tables can be rented for an additional $20. Chairs will be provided at no extra cost.
Deadlines
Applications will be accepted from July 25 to September 1, 2012.
Accept, decline and waitlist notifications will go out by email on September 7th.
Vendor payment of $70 ($80 minus application fee) is due by October 1st.
Waitlisted vendors will be notified of acceptance by October 5th. Vendor payment will be due by October 12th to ensure your spot.
Show check-in is between 8-9 am on October 27th. Please have merchandise ready for 10am show opening.
