Fall 2010: 156 - JUMPSTART YOUR CREATIVE ENGINE: AN EXPLORATION OF PROCESS & POSSIBILITY
Here is an opportunity to experiment and “play” with a variety of materials both “traditional” and “off the wall” (house paint, drier lint, staples and masking tape?). Rules will be broken with surprising and satisfying results. With media as “subject” we will expand our range of techniques to include layering, erasure, mark-making, deconstruction and assembly. Our emphasis will be on the creative “process” rather than the finished “product”. For never-before-artists or old hands in need of a “Jumpstart”, come with an open mind, jump in, get messy, and have fun! Expand your creative boundaries as you create richly textured elements for “art making”.
